With a vision to entertain people and promote talent, Ms. Akila Iyengar, the dynamic, versatile and delightful personality, began Arte Compass in 2003.
She also plays a major role in 2 other business entities, as a Director of ‘Agrocorp International Pte Ltd’, a Singapore based multinational agri trading company and also as one of the Board of Directors of ‘The Hindu Group of Companies’, a respected 139 year old media house in India.

Her passion for the arts inspired her to step out of the boardrooms and tap into her creativity to bring quality entertainment to the Singaporean audience.

Armed with 15 years of event industry experience and corporate expertise along with her exemplary people skills, Ms. Akila is the driving force behind the Arte Compass brand which has proven time and again to be an epitome of excellence and quality.

Under Ms Akila’s stewardship, Arte Compass has also been committed to help the under privileged, helping to raise funds through the arts and events.
